Light – Magic – Technology
Passion for design, aesthetics and technological innovation: the London based designer Paul Cocksedge (born in 1978) always deals with the phenomenon of light. He sounds possibilities and freedoms of LED technology, as his cooperation with Ingo Maurer shows as well as his orchestration Sestosenso, where the light source remains hidden. The initial point was the first BMW with LED-floodlights in series as shortly presented by chief designer Adrian van Hooydonk. Only the light itself gets conducted through a transparent box which makes the source of light invisible and therefore gives a new definition of light.
