Mirko Borsche
Mirko Borsche is a German typographer and graphic designer. In his youth, he was a graffiti artist, which had a major influence on his work. Beginning in 1992, he studied graphic design at Kingston University London and the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. After five years as an art director in advertising for clients such as Levi's and MTV, he co-founded the style magazine NEON and served as art director of SZ Magazine. In 2000, he taught at the Bauhaus University in Weimar and in 2002 at the Münster University of Applied Sciences. In 2007, he founded his own graphic design studio, Bureau Borsche, and has since served as creative director for Zeit Magazine. The studio has received numerous international awards and collaborates with clients in the cultural sector, luxury fashion houses, and commercial enterprises.
