Studio Steffi Bauer

Steffi Bauer is a textile designer and illustrator from Munich. Her creative style is playful yet precise, with a particular fondness for imperfection. Inspired by nature and the plants surrounding her studio in Munich’s Westend district, she develops her drawings into fabric designs and striking patterns. Her work appears on textiles, magazine covers, products, and even window panes. In addition to her design practice, she creates individual artworks and commissioned pieces. She also leads artistic workshops and shares the freedom of illustrative work — an activity that brings her great fulfillment.

Michael Geldmacher is a renowned designer whose career, spanning over two decades, has had a significant impact on the design industry. He and Stefanie Kubanek are the founders of the design studio MUCNYC, established in 2019.
