Fostering start-ups and innovative business ideas means investing in the future directly: The corporate sector and society always are on the lookout for fresh and sustainable out-of-the-boy yet feasible concepts. Not all new approaches are caught on right away and some business ideas need support or partners. Design can help in this quest.
Designers convey sense, form and function to new business ideas. The make products and services more approachable, engaging, convenient, affable and more valuable in the eyes of users. We live in a world where we expect everything we buy to be attractive and user-friendly.
Communication design, product design or design thinking in interdisciplinary projects have become essential elements of start-up processes. Design strategies complement the commonly found duo of business and developer excellently, provided the potential of design is recognized and integrated. MCBW START UP looks behind the scenes of the development process of products or services and illustrates how designers can enrich the entire start-up phase.
The program of events, workshops, coaching sessions and podiums offered as part of the 2019 edition of MCBW START UP, the founders’ platform for companies and designers initiated by bayern design, has been set up to promote the targeted dialog among design-oriented start-ups, young and experienced designers, experts from the corporate sector, and the general public to facilitate professional and successful careers. The offerings are rounded off with training and informative events.
