Want to use your ideas to shape the future? Then apply now to be a speaker at the mcbw design summit 2027 on May 10, 2027 – one of the highlights of munich creative business week. Share your perspective on our annual theme SIGNAL – NOISE, inspire others, and become part of a movement that is rethinking design.

Who can participate? Designers, creative professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, students, and anyone who wants to contribute to the annual theme with their work or project can apply.

Your contribution: If you have a topic that relates to our annual theme SIGNAL – NOISE, and can inspire an expert audience and the creative scene in a maximum of 10 minutes, we look forward to receiving your application. To do so, enter your details in the form below.

Your path to the stage

Here are the key milestones of the application and selection process.

1. Application

Submit your storyline via our application form by 4 December, 2026 at the latest.

2. Selection & Feedback

We take the time to carefully review all submissions. Please allow us some time for the selection process. We will get back to you with our decision by mid-February.

3. Preparation & Feedback

If selected, you will be invited to a personal briefing call in April, where we will discuss the next steps together.

4. Spot on!

Important Information

Your talk must relate to the annual theme SIGNAL – NOISE or one of its sub-themes.
Your idea, your words: Please write the description of your keynote yourself and refrain from submitting fully AI-generated texts. We want to hear your personal perspective, point of view and voice.
Alongside classic keynote talks, we explicitly welcome interactive formats, performances and other creative approaches. Surprise us with your format!
Sales pitches are not permitted.
Your contribution must not exceed 10 minutes.
The Design Summit will take place in person in Munich on 10 May 2027. Please make sure you are able to attend on site.
Unfortunately, travel and accommodation costs cannot be covered.
