The mcbw designwalk is a curated city walk by bayern design, which invites you in 2023 to a discovery tour from Munich's old town to Glockenbachviertel.
This year you can discover 11 stations in Munich's Old Town and Glockenbachviertel during the mcbw designwalk. Selected designers and traditional Munich stores will take you on a discovery tour and tell you their story and interesting insights about their products.
How does it work? You walk through our 11 curated mcbw designwalk stations with the help of our map. At each station you will find a marker with a QR code on it. Scan the code with your smartphone and the audio interview of the station will open and you can listen to it.
All you need is an Internet-enabled smartphone and headphones. It is best to start at the first station and visit all other stations chronologically as shown on the map:
1. Visit the first station of the map
2. Find mcbw marker at the station
3. Scan the QR code with your smartphone
4. Play audio interview
5. Follow the directions at the end of the clip and walk to the next station
