Where do our products come from? And why are we so fond of Europe as a production location? We shed light on the many facets of these questions with professionals from product design and production.
The House of Europe has become a place most of us enjoy living in. This also has an impact on our consumer behavior: We rely on European quality products because we rightly trust what we believe to know. Sometimes, however, we also fall prey to our Eurocentrism. What are the advantages of producing close tp home, and how much does all of this influence our purchasing decisions? MAGAZIN discusses with product designers that are involved in different ways with production and distribution of well-designed products.
MAGAZIN discusses these questions with Alexandra Baum, textile designer and founder of TexLock, Christian Kaegi, creative director and co-founder of QWSTION, and Daniel Kern, product designer at MAGAZIN, all of whom are involved in different ways with the production and trade of well-designed products.
