This year's public space installation ‘Take a Seat’ is an ‘endless’ picnic table that aims to bring people together to eat, play and discuss.
The illuminated lettering with changing texts, visible from afar, attracts the attention of the public. Texts and games on the tabletops invite interpersonal interaction. The highlight is the table lighting, which only switches on when at least two people are sitting opposite each other.
In cooperation with Sintesi Labs, with the kind support of the Bavarian State Painting Collection and Kunstareal Munich on behalf of bayern design.
