Design is a process that never follows a linear path, but instead zigzags, goes up and down, and across. By making boundaries permeable and crossing them, design becomes inclusive.

The modernization of the Deutsches Museum is an outstanding project in the cultural and educational sector, unmatched in its size, complexity, and challenges.

New exhibitions are being developed on Munich's Museum Island, which not only aim to reach a diverse, broad international audience in a contemporary manner, but also set high standards for design and the longevity of its exhibits. Moreover, the project aspires to set benchmarks for accessibility and inclusion in the field of education.

The path to a "Museum for All" is often not linear, sometimes rocky and slow, but our visions bring us back together:

Employees from the exhibition design team share their experiences of the process, from conceptualization to realization and the inclusive implementation of a wide range of natural science and technical topics, until a finished exhibition is created in a place where people of various backgrounds come together.

Access via Cornelius Bridge, entrance, meeting point at the information desk on level 0.

Guided tour of the museum and its exhibitions, duration approximately 1.5 hours.
