MUNICH FASHION AWARD 2025 - Award ceremony

The designs of the 10 finalists will be presented at a green carpet event in front of invited guests at the House of Communication in Munich. The winners will then be chosen by the jury.

In mid-May 2025, the Munich Fashion Award will celebrate its premiere and bring 10 European design talents from the fields of fashion and accessories to Munich. Their vision of an aesthetic and sustainable future will be presented in the modules Exhibition for the professional public and urban society, Red Carpet Event and Conference.

Under the motto “The European Sustainable Fashion Award With A Tech Twist”, LHM / Kreativ München invited European designers to rethink fashion and accessories - with a bold, forward-looking approach that combines sustainability, aesthetics and creativity. From 170 submissions, the high-caliber jury (including Christiane Arp, Fashion Council Germany) nominated five finalists from each of the categories Contemporary Sustainable Fashion & Accessories for the shortlist. They will present their highlight outfits and pieces at the first MFA on May 15 and 16, 2025 in Munich. Three nominees will each be awarded the MFA.

With Luca Reinhardt and Achim Wünsch from “Halfs” and Sebastian Thies from “Nat-2”, three designers from Munich are represented.
