Office building by renowned architects, listed and modern at the same time. Located right next to the English Garden, but not yet fully integrated into Munich - that is Tucherpark today.
But that is set to change: The first new tenants will move in by the end of 2026. The 14-hectare site will become Munich's first green neighbourhood, a prototype for future city life in which nature, work, living and leisure merge seamlessly.
But how can this transformation be achieved? What are the most important aspects of the planning process?
For the project partners hausInvest, Commerz Real and Hines, it was clear that the first step was to understand what people - especially Munich residents - need and expect from a forward-looking place. Together with Gehl People, the world's leading consultancy for urban strategy and design, we will present current findings and trends in public space and explain how they influence our planning: How vibrant is Munich really? What characterises favourite places? How are other cities developing? And how can we best utilise the potential of Tucherpark in the Eisbachviertel?
