From May 13, there will be a varied start to the mcbw day every morning at 8:30 am. Be inspired by the presentations - with freshly brewed coffee from TURM KAFFEE and oven-warm rolls from Julius Brantner.

How does a strong games community develop? This session will show how indie studios, networks and funding in Bavaria work together to enable creative exchange and strengthen the industry in the long term.

The games industry in Bavaria is growing - driven by ambitious indie studios, committed communities and targeted funding. Games/Bavaria plays a key role in this: as a mediator between politics and the creative industries, the initiative strengthens the location, networks players and creates spaces for exchange. Using selected projects, the session will show how cooperation promotes knowledge transfer and strengthens independent studios in the long term. The focus is on the question of how to create a vibrant, resilient games culture - one that grows beyond individual titles and enables creative dialog.

A strong community does not form by itself. It needs platforms, inspiring encounters and a culture of togetherness. The discussion will focus on how these structures can be designed in Bavaria and which impulses can be passed on.
