Creative Lunchbreak: Studying Design in a Distance Learning Format

What happens when a design degree becomes a playground of possibilities? DIPLOMA University offers an introduction to its Design & Media department and its creative study programs.

A design degree can become a genuine space of possibilities—a place where design, technology, and new ways of working intersect and create room for experimentation, new perspectives, and innovative forms of collaboration.

In this lunchbreak session, DIPLOMA University introduces its Design & Media department and presents a study model that combines creative practice, digital collaboration, and flexible study structures.

Participants will learn about several programs in the fields of design and digital media, including Communication Design, Process and Product Design, UX Design, Information Design, and Digital Games Business. In addition, the Design & Leadership master’s program, combining creative expertise with strategic thinking, will be presented.

After a short introduction, current students will share their personal experiences: How to organize a creative degree alongside a professional career? How do projects and collaboration work in a virtual environment? And how can distance learning be both flexible and personal?

The session is open to anyone interested in design, innovation, and new forms of learning—especially those looking for new pathways into creative education.
Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with students and lecturers.
