Design as a Method: “Planetary Health” at the Deutsches Museum

TULP Design GmbH

Deutsches Museum - Eingang Corneliusbrücke
Museumsinsel 1, 80538 München

“Planetary Health” is a temporary exhibition at the Deutsches Museum. TULP, in collaboration with the museum, invites you to an exclusive guided tour exploring design as a method for transformation.

We are convinced that positive change in human behavior can only be achieved through clear explanation and by offering compelling new aesthetic values and visions. Change is achieved when it is understood, desirable, and widely accepted. Therefore, transformation through design and architecture serves as a powerful driver of behavioral change.

“Planetary Health” is an interdisciplinary field of research that places the limits of the Earth system in the context of human health. This exhibition raises awareness of this interdependence and the impacts that human intervention has on these systems. However, there are also positive developments. And there are people who are showing us how to do things better. It is important not only to highlight negative developments but, in particular, to inspire young people to actively shape our future.
