Modern luminous objects in historic architecture: a panel of art, lighting and design experts discusses the new illumination concept in the entrance hall of the Bavarian National Museum.
From March 2019, a new illumination concept will be rendering a glamorous aura to the entrance hall of the Bavarian National Museum: The "Iconic Eyes" luminaire was inspired by car headlights and designed by Bernhard Dessecker for this room using lenses and LED lights. Its manufacturer, the design company Moooi, has been enthusing the world of international interior design with its innovative and unique creations for almost 20 years. Eleven "Iconic Eyes" merge perfectly with the Historicist architecture of the foyer, turning the Renaissance Hall into a 21st century space.
