Aleksander Pavkovic
Dr. Aleksander Pavkovic is an expert in digital accessibility and blindness-specific IT consulting at the BIT Center of the Bavarian Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired (BBSB). With a PhD in Slavic studies and a background as an IT trainer, he has spent years working on accessible documents and software for blind and visually impaired users.
He also creates Braille content, audits accessibility standards, and conducts trainings on accessible document design. As a part-time Catholic deacon, he brings a societal and ethical perspective to the topic.
In the panel, Dr. Pavkovic will speak about the challenges of accessing education and public funding — and why accessibility must go beyond technical standards to ensure real inclusion.
