Angelika Nollert

Prof Dr Angelika Nollert has been Director of Die Neue Sammlung - The Design Museum in Munich since 2014. After working for Skulptur. Projekte in Münster (1997), she was curator of Portikus in Frankfurt am Main (1997-2000), took over the project management of Documenta 11 in 2001/2002 and became project manager in the visual arts section of the Siemens Arts Programme from 2002-2007. From 2007-2014 she was director of the Neues Museum für Kunst und Design in Nuremberg.

The work of art historian Angelika Nollert focusses on the continuities and overlaps between the various disciplines of design, art and architecture. Numerous publications and teaching assignments.
