Christos Chantzaras has worked for over ten years as an architect and consultant in the design of office, research and production buildings. After working in Munich, Shanghai, Shenyang and Berlin, he joined the Department of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 2017. His research focusses on the design of innovation processes through architectural means and the topic of the future of work and education in physical and virtual spaces (aka metaverse). He is managing director of the TUM Venture Lab for the Built Environment to promote innovation in the design, construction, operation and use of built structures. As a freelance architect and consultant, he accompanies spatial transformation processes in companies and urban developments.
