Costas Kazantzis
Costas explores pathways in game engine technology, 3D design, and extended reality (XR), focusing on their potential in fashion and contemporary art. With a background in computer engineering, fashion media production, and visual communication, he positions immersive technologies as tools to enhance environments and enable real-time interactions. His research examines the interplay between human experience and cyber-physical ecosystems, challenging gaming mechanics that prioritize instant gratification and exclude queer narratives.
He is Lead Creative Technologist at the Fashion Innovation Agency, London College of Fashion, where he lectures. Costas has collaborated with Burberry, Snapchat, MIT, and Epic Games, and is a PhD candidate at UAL’s Creative Computing Institute.
