Erhard Grundl

Erhard Grundl was a member of the German Bundestag for Bündnis 90/Die Grünen from 2017 to 2025. From 2021, he headed the parliamentary group's Culture and Media Working Group and continued to play a leading role in cultural policy issues as spokesperson. He was also a deputy member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on European Union Affairs as well as chairman of the Subcommittee on Foreign Cultural and Education Policy.
Before his political career, Erhard Grundl worked in the music industry. From 1991 to 2017, he worked as a sales manager in the independent music industry and ran “Erhard Grundl Tonträgervertrieb” in cooperation with Cargo Records Germany from 2003 to 2017.
