Erik Schneider (1967) has been a Professor of Industrial Design and Construction at the THI Ingolstadt since 2016, specializing in:
Design projects, construction, lightweight construction, aesthetics, kinematics, and CAD modeling.
Studied mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (Dipl.-Ing. 95) and industrial design at Pforzheim University (Dipl.-Designer 99).
Worked at Daimler AG (1998-2016) in research and development and design: advanced concepts, innovation assurance, and innovation workshops.
Freelance consultant for innovation processes and creative workshops.
Teaching at Pforzheim University (2014-2022) in the Bachelor's degree programs in Industrial Design and Master's degree programs in Creative Direction.
Founded the Technical Design degree program at THI.
