Jeanne-Marie Ehbauer

Dr.-Ing. Jeanne-Marie Ehbauer heads the City of Munich‘s Department for Building, Construction and Maintenance with 4,000 staff members. Her responsibilities include public roads, bridges, and subway construction, the design of public spaces and green areas, as well as Germany's largest municipal school and daycare construction program. From 2014 to 2020 she led the Building Department of Bremerhaven and represented the coastal city as a member of the Construction and Transportation Committee at Deutsche Städtetag. During her interdisciplinary doctoral studies and her architecture studies in Karlsruhe and at ETH Zurich, she worked in several architectural firms on national and international construction and urban planning projects within in all project phases
