Jens Krzywinski

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens Krzywinski is head of the Professorship of Technical Design at Dresden University of Technology since April 2019. From September 2012 to August 2018, he held the junior professorship for technical design. In addition, he serves as a juror for various design awards and is active on advisory boards for arthistoricum.net, the specialist information service for art, photography and design, and the industry association of Dresden's cultural and creative industries, among others. In 2013, he won the prize for innovation in teaching from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Jens Krzywinski is co-initiator and director of the "DesignLab for Applied Research" founded in 2023 as well as spokesperson of the Fraunhofer Network Science, Art and Design.
