Jochen Stopper

Jochen Stopper is a professor of energy-efficient and sustainable construction at the Faculty of Interior Design, Architecture and Design at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences since 2018, and is head of the part-time master's programme in windows and facades. Together with Isabell Nemeth he runs the engineering office Nemeth & Stopper in Munich. He studied architecture in Stuttgart and New York and has worked as head of research and production in Stuttgart and Switzerland. From 2006 to 2018, he conducted research on energy-efficient facades at the University of Liechtenstein and the Technical University of Munich. He was awarded the Marshall Prize of the TU Munich for his dissertation. As scientific director he is part of the TH Rosenheim team for the Solar Decathlon Europe 2021/22.
