Growing up in Frankenberg/Eder, the seat of the furniture manufacturer Thonet, Johannes has always been interested in good design. After completing his editorial traineeship at the Madsack media company, Johannes took on editorial management duties at the Frankenberger Zeitung and developed innovative formats and products at the publishing house. His communication management studies with Prof. Klaus Merten in Münster lead him into the Public Relations. Johannes has been head of corporate communications at Hephata Diakonie since 2012. Integrated communication, digitization and (universal) design thinking are the focus of his work there.
