Luisa Neubauer

Luisa Neubauer is a climate activist, co-organiser of Fridays for Future and one of the most prominent representatives of the German climate movement. In 2021, she and others won the landmark constitutional court judgement ‘Neubauer vs. Germany’ against the German government in the fight for political climate action. Luisa Neubauer has been increasingly building alliances to protect democracy and the climate. She was honoured with the Preaching Prize in October 2023 and spoke at the Vatican at the end of 2023. She has met with Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel and Barack Obama and published bestselling books on the climate crisis; her fifth book ‘What if we were brave’ was published in spring 2025.
