Markus Eder

Markus Eder started out as a consultant at the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs. He then worked as a national expert at the EU Commission. He gained further experience in Edmund Stoiber's planning staff before becoming Head of Division for Economic and Technology Policy in the Bavarian State Chancellery. He later served as Managing Director of the Bayerische Gesellschaft für Innovation und Wissenstransfer mbH in Nuremberg. Back at the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, he headed the Department for Foreign Trade Promotion and, to this day, the Department for SMEs, Crafts, Trade and Liberal Professions including Creative Industries/Design. He is also Managing Director of the Danner Foundation for the Promotion of Arts and Crafts.
