Markus Frenzl

Markus Frenzl is Professor for Design and Media Theory at the Department of Design at Munich University of Applied Sciences. He focuses on cultural semiotics and product semantics, design criticism and design curation as well as experimental projects in context of social change and transformative processes. With his Frankfurt office, he is active in the fields of design consulting, communication and corporate publishing, he is a member of several design associations and often works as a speaker, advisory board, curator and juror. As a design critic, he publishes in specialist and public media on design and everyday culture, on public design image as well as on the cultural and social relevance of design.
