
Mathias Knigge
For over 20 years, Mathias Knigge has been developing inclusive and cross-generational solutions in the spirit of Design for All / Universal Design. Mathias Knigge's approach is to “focus on added value instead of potential user deficits”. Companies in all sectors benefit from this, from manufacturers to retailers and service providers, right through to tourism and housing.
Mathias Knigge studied mechanical engineering at the TU Berlin and product design at the Berlin University of the Arts. In 2004, he founded grauwert, the office for inclusion and demographically sound solutions in Hamburg-Altona. As chairman of the competence network EDAD (Design for All - Germany e.V.), Mathias Knigge ensures the establishment and dissemination of the topic at national and international level.
