Michael Schlenke

Michael Schlenke became involved with the effects of demographic change on society, industry and the creative industries at an early stage. As a member of the baby boomer generation, he focuses on the active and future-oriented design of lifelong stable forms of living together across all generations. As a specialist editor at the industry information service CARE INVEST, he publishes on the growth market of senior living. After studying business administration, the trained cabinetmaker worked in the furniture and interior design industry. For more than ten years, Michael Schlenke has been committed to the design principles of Universal Design, since the beginning of 2023 as a member of the advisory board of the Universal Design Forum e.V.
