Mirjam Zadoff
Prof. Dr. Mirjam Zadoff has been Director of the Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism since 2018. She was previously Professor of History and holder of the Alvin H. Rosenfeld Chair in Jewish Studies at Indiana University Bloomington. Visiting professorships have taken her to Zurich, Berkeley, Berlin and Augsburg, among other places. She currently teaches at LMU and TUM Munich. She is the editor and author of numerous books, exhibition catalogs and articles, for example: Violence and Memory. Global Memory in the 21st Century (2023); TO BE SEEN. Queer Lives 1900-1950, exhibition catalog, ed. with Karolina Kühn; and Fragile Democracies. What threatens free societies - and what holds them together. ed. with Denis Heuring and Paul-Moritz Rabe (2024).
