Oliver Herwig

Design expert Dr. Oliver Herwig works as a journalist and moderator in Munich. He teaches design theory at the University of Art and Design Linz and moderates conferences and panel discussions. He has received numerous awards for his journalistic work, including the “Karl-Theodor-Vogel-Preis für herausragende Technik-Publizistik” and the COR “Wohnen und Design” prize.He has received scholarships for stays in England, the USA and Norway.

He was a science journalist in Tübingen, guest editor at *wallpaper, editor-in-chief of KAP magazine and editor-at-large of nomad. His interviews, design reviews, portraits and home reports have appeared in the NZZ, SZ, FR and FAZ QUARTERLY. He has written over three dozen books on architecture and design.
