Refik Anadol is a media artist and director born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1985. Currently, living and working in Los Angeles, California. He is a lecturer and visiting researcher at UCLA’s Department of Design Media Arts.
Embedding media arts into architecture, Refik Anadol questions the possibility of a post-digital architectural future in which there are no more non-digital realities. In this talk, he will share his studio’s unique journey with light as a material and architecture as a canvas. His recent experiments and permanent public art installations will collide with machine intelligence and future-forward insights to conclude his keynote.
