Regina Hanke

Professor Regina Hanke at Macromedia – University of Applied Science coaches her students to shape the future of design.
Her research focus is decision-making processes in health care and European Design policy / Policy Design. She currently leads MADres, a European-co-funded initiative by BEDA dedicated to supporting designers in enhancing their skills in planetary design, accessibility, and digital ethics.
Regina directed a successful healthcare-specialised agency for more than 15 years and is one of the founders of Leila, a leading medical information and decision-support app. Regina is passionate about strategic design and aims to promote an understanding of design across different sectors through her work as Secretary of BEDA—The Bureau of European Design Association.
