Riëlle graduated from Saxion Hogescholen in Enschede with Technical degree Commercial Textiles (BA) and Fashion Strategy at ArtEZ University of the Arts (MA). With her creative studio, Studio Mockingbird, she coordinate and organize programs, she visualizes and does consultancy and organizational work in the field of design, fashion and culture. She is general director of the Fashion Design Festival in Arnhem (FDFA) and she contributed greatly to the success and anchoring of the FDFA. Next to that she is curating and responsible for the program of Design Platform Arnhem and involved in several textile/material related research projects. Riëlle is initiator of the association of the creative industry in Arnhem, and is vice-chairman at the largest entrepreneurs association of Arnhem (OKA).
