Sarah Dorkenwald

Designer and curator Sarah Dorkenwald explores the critical and transformative potential of design in both her practice and theory. In exchange with science and society, she develops new forms of knowledge transfer and uses design as a tool to reflect on technological and social developments as well as to explore alternative futures. At Munich University of Applied Sciences, she supports transdisciplinary innovation and research processes, while her studio UnDesignUnit develops participatory formats and exhibitions on societal issues. Teaching is a central part of her work.
