Svenja Bickert-Appleby

Svenja is an entrepreneur, design strategist, and innovation consultant focused on innovation for the public good. In 2018, she founded New Order Design – Design for Meaningful Change. She has led and co‑founded several impact‑driven initiatives, including Solostücke GmbH, a circular fashion brand, Circular Flow, a marketplace for sustainable textile materials, and Kreiskraft, a network for the circular economy in Germany. Svenja applies entrepreneurship and innovation to social change, working with methods such as Service Design and Design Thinking and circular economy approaches. She brings together diverse perspectives across sectors, cultures, and disciplines, drawing on experience from projects and teaching activities in the public and private sectors in the UK, Italy, and Germany.
