Theresa Zellhuber is part-time employed as judicial official (Diplom-Rechtspflegerin (FH)) at the Munich regional court I.
She is also the owner of atelier z, a studio focused on jewellery design. Also, sculptures and paintings are created there. Theresa applies an old technique using a knitting doll for enlacing wires of silver, titan and gold.
“I'm fascinated by reaching new creative dimensions with a traditional method.“ Merging contrasting materials and bringing them into a shape thrills Theresa.
Currently, she is devoted to the reinterpretation of the hairpin. On the basis of traditional hair decoration, she produces, with a 3D printer, a wax billet which is then being cast in silver. Afterwards, the interstage product is neatened.
