Tim Oelker

After completing a carpentry apprenticeship, Tim Oelker studied product design at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts. Since 2001 he has been running his own office in Hamburg and works for: Berendsohn AG, Deutsche Guggenheim, Deutsche Messe, Universal Music and Vestergaard. Since 2006, he has taught Product Design at universities and academies in Hamburg, Hanover and Berlin.
He was appointed Universal Design Expert in 2014, is a member of the Universal Design Forum e.V. and the Universal Design Competition Jury. He is also involved as a member of the "Council for Sustainability" of the German Design Day.
Tim Oelker currently advises companies on design issues and the implementation of Universal Design Change Management.
