Werner Aisslinger

Product designer, winner of numerous international design awards, included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Neue Sammlung in Munich
Werner Aisslinger founded studio aisslinger in Berlin in 1993, specialising in experimental design, product design, material innovations and architectural concepts. As a designer, he is particularly interested in the use of new technologies and unusual materials. His ‘Juli Chair’ for Cappellini, the world's first piece of furniture made of integral polyurethane foam, was selected for the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York. His nomadic architectural modules such as the Loftcube paved the way for a new urban lifestyle.
