Winfried Becker

Born in 1966 in Erlenbach am Main. Initially trained and worked as a dental technician before studying architecture (1990–1995). Since 1999, he has worked as a freelance sculptor and architect.

His works have received numerous awards and are held in public and private collections, including the Bavarian State Painting Collections and the Museum of Contemporary Art Augsburg.

Becker’s sculptural practice combines craftsmanship with a process-oriented methodology, navigating between figuration and abstraction.
