Yannick Hofmann

(*born 1988, Offenbach am Main, Germany) lives and works as an artist and researcher in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. His work critically explores disruptive tendencies and creative innovations at the intersection of technology and society. Since 2023, he has been working at the Fraunhofer Institute for Mobility, Urban Systems Engineering and Innovation Systems (IAO) in the field of urban system design. Previously, he was active at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media, where he co-led the artistic research and production department. Between 2020 and 2023, Hofmann led the project intelligent.museum, which he initiated. In this project, he collaborated interdisciplinarily with software developers and experts in museum visitor research to develop innovative formats for the museums of the future.
