Les Ampoules (LSMPLS) → french for The Light Bulbs.

The studio focusses on a sustainable design approach, creating objects mainly from recycled material. In most cases the production process is half digital, half handcraft – providing replicable standards at low energy levels and resulting in one of a kind objects.

Besides its design practice Les Ampoules also provides workshops for students and children in order to raise awareness for sustainable design and production processes.

Les Ampoules was founded in 2006 by industrial designer (MA) Tom Karg and Sarah Krieger.
