Benedict Witte is Strategic Projects Manager at The Landbanking Group - a Munich-based nature-fintech that establishes nature as critical infrastructure by making it measurable, manageable, and investable. He leads the development of the first German Nature Cadastre - like a land registry for the ecological condition of land, creating a shared data foundation for resilient land use, policy, and capital markets. Benedict holds degrees in Forest Science from TU Munich and International Sustainability Management from ESCP in Paris and Berlin. He is co-author of a peer-reviewed article published in 2026 on natural capital as an emerging asset class, volunteers in a leadership capacity with the Bavarian Johanniter Order, and served two years in the German Alpine military forces in Mittenwald.
