Johannes Marmon

Johannes is the light person in Team Nyta - his interest and focus on light has been with him ever since he started thinking about products and design. He loves to understand light as a phenomenon, aesthetic object and function in equal measure. Understanding and influencing light conceptually - physically, aesthetically and technologically - and the search for elegant ways to combine all this in actual products is what drives him every day to dive deep into potentially interesting ideas, technologies or materials in order to translate the knowledge gained into new and convincing designs. Grew up in Lindau. Studied product design at the HfG Karlsruhe, self-employed since 2007, founded Nyta in 2012.
