Felix Kosok

Felix Kosok is a design scientist and graphic designer. He completed his doctorate at the HfG Offenbach in 2020 on the aesthetic-political dimension of design. His dissertation was published in 2021 by transcript Verlag under the title ‘Form, Function and Freedom’. In addition to research, he is also active as a designer with Bureau069, which he founded in Frankfurt. Since 2021, Felix Kosok has been Associate Professor of Communication Design at the German International University in Berlin and, since 2024, head of the design discourse for World Design Capital Frankfurt RheinMain 2026 under the motto ‘Design for Democracy’.
