Sabine Resch

Sabine Resch is the first female professor of fashion journalism in the German-speaking world. She teaches at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design in Munich, where she heads the Fashion Journalism and Communication (B.A.) programme. As a fashion journalist, she has written for Süddeutsche Zeitung and VOGUE, among others, and has written specialised books on fashion and journalism.
Her focus is on fashion analysis and storytelling. She teaches fashion and design theory, aesthetics, staging and styling as well as fashion and magazine journalism. She combines theory and practice with interdisciplinary projects and student editorial teams such as the MO:DE magazine series and is committed to responsible fashion journalism.
She sees fashion as a cultural asset that goes far beyond clothing.
