Kim Lauenroth

Dr. Kim Lauenroth has been designing digital solutions since 2011 and has represented the Digital Design department at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts since 2022. As co-initiator and first signatory of the Digital Design Manifesto, Kim has been passionately committed to establishing digital design as a profession in the software and digital industry since 2018.
During his time in the industry, he has designed large-scale digital solutions for insurance companies and the healthcare sector as Chief Designer. As Chairman of IREB e.V., he has been developing internationally recognized training courses for the software industry since 2016 and has been Bitkom's first point of contact for the software competence area as Chairman of the Software Steering Committee since 2020.
