Thomas Mandl

The One World Flag is an art project that was first presented at TEDx Munich in 2018. Since then, the community around the flag has grown and spread around the world. The community has promoted music videos, exhibitions, books, talks and initiatives, for example within the Patagonia Pro Community in Europe or with the magazine "Nomad". From the Arctic to the remote regions of Nigeria, the community has carried the flag to many places around the globe. In a world characterised by differences, the One World Flag is a reminder that we all live on the same planet and share a common future. The flag is currently on display in the Munich Kunsthalle as a unifying symbol of the 'Civilization' exhibition.
