Helge Lindh

Helge Lindh, directly elected member of the Bundestag for Wuppertal since 2017. As cultural and media policy spokesperson, he has represented the SPD parliamentary group in the Bundestag since 2021 and fights for cultural freedom, fair working conditions in the cultural and creative industries and a reliable funding landscape - including for the free and independent scene. In the Committee on Internal Affairs, I deal with migration policy issues, and as a spokesperson for democracy policy, I am concerned with the development of participation.
After studying in Bielefeld and Lüneburg, Helge Lindh completed his studies with a Master's degree in Modern German Philology (HF), German Linguistics (NF), Modern and Contemporary History including Regional History (NF) at HHU Düsseldorf.
