Transferdrucke auf Holz

VITA

Wood fascinates me by its look and feel and its multiple possibilities of usage.

In my transfer prints I integrate the structure and color of the wood. Imprint and background engange in dialogue, adding further depth to the image.

The products gain a peculiar charm through a not totally influencable outcome oft the prints.

I use that technique for colored and black-and-white prints for example on wooden boards, trays or caskets – also for customized design.

The images often generate the impression of timelessness within the observer since the time of their origin is not imediately disclosed.

Each print is unique due to the kind of wood used, its color, structure and thickness – and by chance.
